The LASEROPTEK Forum 2024 was held on November 30 and December 7 at the Sky31 Convention in Lotte World Tower. Attended by over 160 dermatology and medical aesthetic professionals, the forum served as a platform to showcase LASEROPTEK’s latest technologies and products while discussing clinical experiences and practical applications. Advanced devices such as the Helios 785 PICO, Pallas PREMIUM, and PicoLO PREMIUM S were highlighted, focusing on their technical features and clinical utility. Additionally, panel discussions addressed the practical implementation of these technologies in medical aesthetic settings.

At the forum held on November 30, more than 100 dermatologists attended, focusing on the clinical advantages and technological innovations of Helios 785 PICO and Pallas PREMIUM. Bang-soon Kim of S&U Kim Bang-soon Dermatology chaired the session, enhancing the event’s professionalism and prestige.

Dr. Ki Tae Kim of Tae Plastic Surgery Clinic delivered a presentation titled "How Can We Use The Wavelength of 785nm?" where he explained the clinical advantages of the Helios 785 PICO, including its unique 785nm wavelength for tattoo, pigmentation, and rejuvenation treatments.

Dr. Jihyun Kim of TN Dermatology highlighted using Helios 785 PICO’s combined picosecond and nanosecond modes to treat pigmentation disorders. He emphasized techniques to reduce the risk of PIH (post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation) in melasma treatments and shared his experiences using the DOE handpiece, drawing significant interest from the audience.

Dr. Jung Min Bae of HealHouse Dermatology introduced a customized treatment strategy for vitiligo using the Pallas PREMIUM. He demonstrated how Ti-Sapphire technology with 300Hz speed enhances the effectiveness and efficiency of treatment while underscoring the importance of tailored approaches.

The forum held on December 7 attracted over 60 medical aesthetic professionals, focusing on the technological advancements of the PicoLO PREMIUM S and Helios 785 PICO. Gongchan Rah of Robbin Clinic served as the moderator, facilitating dynamic discussions and in-depth exchanges of ideas among participants.

Dr. Don-gyu Han of Rejume Clinic delivered the first lecture of the forum, titled “Clinical Results of Treating Melasma and Other Pigmentation Disorders Using the Helios 785.” He presented various case studies utilizing the 785 DIA Fx handpiece, emphasizing the stability and efficiency provided by the DOE-based fractional beam.

Following this, Dr. Ki Tae Kim of Tae Plastic Surgery Clinic presented “785nm With an Unusual Chromophore Reaction: A New Tattoo Treatment,” explaining how the 785nm wavelength of Helios 785 is more effective for tattoo removal compared to 1064nm. He also discussed combined treatment methods and energy delivery efficiency.

The third lecture was given by Dr. Hosun Chang of Medi Castle Clinic, who introduced “Innovative Skin Tightening and Rejuvenation Concepts Using Pico Sculpting.” He showcased clinical results for face lifting using the soon-to-be-released PicoLO PREMIUM S, highlighting its potential to expand picosecond laser treatments beyond pigmentation into skin lifting and tightening. Dr. Chang shared significant findings on improving facial contours and skin elasticity.

Hong Chu, Chairman of LASEROPTEK, delivered the final lecture on both days under the theme “LASEROPTEK at Present.” He introduced next-generation technologies, including the PicoLO PREMIUM S and Raman laser, while outlining the company’s vision. The Raman laser, designed for vascular treatments, garnered significant attention and is slated for release in 2025 as an innovative solution.


The LASEROPTEK Forum 2024 concluded successfully with a lucky draw and closing ceremony. Participants had the opportunity to explore the innovative treatment possibilities provided by LASEROPTEK’s advanced technologies, such as the Helios 785 PICO, Pallas PREMIUM, and PicoLO PREMIUM S.
